Clinic Closed until Further Notice

Updated April 14, 2020: Leaders in Hawaii have issued a statewide stay-at-home order through at least April 30th. To do our part and prioritize the health and safety of our community our clinic will be closed until further notice.

What we are doing

  • The clinic will close to all in-person visits until further notice. We will continue to monitor information from the state and county of Kauai and evaluate reopening when advised.
  • Our phones will remain open M-F from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Call 808-855-8436 if you have a question or Skin Fitness need and we will return your call as soon as possible.
  • Existing patients may repurchase Skin Fitness products online. Click on the storefronts below to place an order.
  • We will work with patients individually to facilitate Skin Fitness follow-up appointments over the phone, text, or video as much as possible.
  • All group Skin Fitness classes scheduled after March 14 have been canceled.
  • The Advanced Microneedling event scheduled for May 2nd has been postponed until further notice.

Need a Refill? Skin Fitness Products Available For Re-Purchase Online.

We’re committed to keeping your skin healthy and thanks to this closure we have been able to work with our medical-grade skin care partners to allow existing patients access to re-order products online. Our Skin Fitness products contain medical-grade ingredients and are only available through authorized medical practices. These links are intended for existing Melinda Menezes, MD patients who have received a Skin Fitness consultation.

What you can do

Staying informed, practicing good hygiene, and social distancing is the best defense against the coronavirus disease at this time. Together we can keep Kauai and our most vulnerable populations healthy by taking the following actions:

  • Stay home
  • Wear a cloth mask in public. Remember your mask protects others and their mask protects you. You can make your own cloth mask from a pattern or items you already have on hand.
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds before rinsing.
  • If you feel sick or someone in your household is sick, stay home and self-isolate.
  • If you believe you have been exposed to coronavirus and experience flu-like symptoms with fever and dry cough, call your healthcare provider. Do not show up unannounced if possible.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily.
  • Take care of your mental health. Be kind to yourself and others. Stress and anxiety are common and can have lasting effects on our overall health and well-being.

Staying informed is key to staying healthy. Here are a few resources we are following.

Take Care

I know closures and cancelations are inconvenient and stressful. However, as a medical professional, I believe we must act together and make these sacrifices so that we can protect the most vulnerable among us. If we all do our part we can give our hospitals, doctors, and nurses a chance to minimize impact and save lives. Thank you for acting in solidarity with us.
