What to expect
Pre-treatment

Your treatment plan begins with a personalized consultation with Dr. Menezes to determine if Emsella is the best choice for you. During this visit, you will discuss your symptoms. There is no special preparation required, and you can arrive in your everyday clothing.
During treatment
Emsella treatments are simple, comfortable, and convenient. You’ll remain fully clothed while seated on the Emsella chair for approximately 30 minutes. As the device delivers electromagnetic energy to the pelvic floor muscles, you’ll experience muscle contractions. Most patients describe the treatment as comfortable and easily tolerated.
post-treatment
Most patients complete a series of four sessions, spaced about one week apart. Many patients notice improvement after a 3-4 sessions, with optimal results typically developing over several weeks as the pelvic floor muscles become stronger.
