We offer two physician‑selected technologies: the Gentle IPL Laser for pigment and redness, and the CO₂ Laser for transformative resurfacing and women’s health. What to expect
Pre-treatment
For both IPL and CO₂ laser treatments, we encourage you to arrive with clean skin and avoid self‑tanners, tanning beds, and unprotected sun exposure for at least 2 weeks prior.
Additional preparation may include:
- IPL: Avoid retinol and exfoliating acids for 3–5 days before treatment.
- CO₂: You may also be asked to stop certain skincare products and supplements to minimize irritation.
A personalized plan will be reviewed during your consultation to ensure your skin is optimally prepared.
During treatment
Gentle IPL Laser
IPL feels like a quick, warm snap against the skin. Most patients tolerate it easily without numbing, but we also have numbing and cooling devices to keep you comfortable. Because this device targets pigment and redness, it is not the best choice for treating melanated skin. A typical session takes 20–30 minutes, depending on the area treated.
Deep CO₂ Laser Resurfacing
CO₂ resurfacing is a more intensive procedure designed to dramatically improve texture, wrinkles, and scarring. You will be numbed beforehand for comfort. Patients describe the sensation as warm and prickly. Treatment time ranges from 45–75 minutes, depending on the depth and area.

Gentle IPL Laser
There is minimal downtime. You may experience temporary redness or darkening of brown spots as they rise to the surface before flaking off over several days. You can resume normal activities immediately, but should avoid direct sun exposure and wear SPF daily.
Deep CO₂ Laser Resurfacing
Expect several days of redness, swelling, and a “sunburned” sensation. The skin will peel as it regenerates. We will provide a detailed aftercare plan including gentle cleansing, moisturizing, and strict sun protection. Most patients return to normal activities within a week, with continued improvement over the following months as collagen rebuilds.
