Medical Facial
Our medical facial is a total tune-up for your face. This treatment pairs state-of-the-art cleansing and exfoliating technology with personalized serums, peels, extractions, dermaplane, lymphatic drainage, and LED light therapy. This is not a spa facial, it gets work done!
What to expect
Pre-treatment
We encourage you to arrive with clean skin and in comfortable clothing. We also recommend that you stop shaving and waxing your face at least 2-3 days before your treatment to avoid irritation. If you are on a supervised retinol program you may be advised to stop using your products for a few days before treatment.
During treatment
The treatment is gentle and relaxing. Most patients report feeling a mild suction sensation during the extraction step, and tingling during the peel, but it is not painful. The entire treatment takes around 60 minutes, depending on your unique treatment plan.
post-treatment
There is no downtime after a medical facial, and you can resume your daily activities immediately. However, your skin may appear slightly red and sensitive for a few hours after the treatment. We will apply SPF to keep your skin safe, but recommend minimizing sun exposure for the rest of the day. We also recommend that you avoid wearing makeup for at least 6 hours after the treatment to allow the skin to fully absorb the benefits of the treatment.
